ML 4.6 Off west coast of Denmark on February 19th 2010 at 21:08 UTC


An earthquake of magnitude ML 4.6 occurred on 19/02/2010 north west of Denmark, at 44 km NW Thyborøn at 21:08 UTC (22:08 local time). More information on the main shock is available on the EMSC web site.

The earthquake has been widely felt in Viborg, Ringkøbing, Nordjylland, Århus and even until Göteborg (Sweden), 300 km of the epicenter.

It is the largest earthquake in the region since the Mw 4.3 that occurred on 16/12/2008 east of Denmark (Southern Sweden).
